RAPID CITY, SD – Thursday, December 15, 2016 – Traffic on Mt. Rushmore Rd, between Quincy Street and Saint James Street, shifted Thursday morning and is now split between northbound and southbound lanes.

Southbound traffic is in the outside southbound lane. Northbound traffic is in the inside northbound lane. The traffic signal at the Mt. Rushmore Road/Columbus Street intersection is now operational.

Motorists are asked to slow down while driving through the work zone and be prepared for: suddenly slowing, merging and stopped traffic and minor delays. They also should watch for construction workers and equipment that are adjacent to the roadway.
