RAPID CITY, SD – Beginning Monday, June 12, motorists can expect the closure of the west half of the intersection of Mount Rushmore Road with Saint Patrick Street for pavement removal and installation of water and sewer lines. Saint Patrick Street will be closed from the Mount Rushmore Road intersection to the west approximately 190 feet. This closure is anticipated to last through mid-July.
Motorists are asked to slow down through the work zone and be prepared for: suddenly slowing, merging and stopped traffic, minor delays, loose gravel, uneven surfaces and bumps, as well as construction workers and equipment adjacent to the roadway.
